I offer in-person services throughout the DFW Metroplex and online services nationally.
Tutoring.
Each individualized session is an opportunity for your student to learn new skills, hone their abilities and embrace new challenges. Through getting to know your student and analysis of their learning style, I provide targeted activities which promote engagement and build upon their real-world problem-solving skills.
In addition, I strive to incorporate the development of life skills into lessons, whether that be learning how to give a presentation over a concept or use Microsoft and Google programs.
Consulting & Advocacy.
Knowing what your child needs to be successful is not always obvious. Through years of designing, evaluating and implementing successful Texas IEPs and 504 Plans, I have the skills and experience to make sure your student is receiving the accommodations/modifications and services they need to maximize their potential.
You want your student to achieve their learning potential, but communicating with school officials and attending 504/IEP meetings is often stressful. Let me take that stress away by acting as an advocate on your child’s behalf to help ensure that your child is receiving the assistance that will allow them to excel as a student. I have years of experience leading IEP meetings on behalf of public schools, so I know the time and effort it takes to get through the “red tape” of public school administrators.
Homework Support.
Have you ever sat down to help your child with homework, only to realize that you don’t remember how to solve for X? I understand, which is why I offer hands-on and virtual homework support for your child’s curriculum.
My homework support services allow you to focus on what you do best, being a parent.
